Sue Nelson guests will be discussing the science and technology behind one of the world’s favourite stimulants: caffeine.

How do you like your caffeine? In espresso, cappucino, a latte, or a cup of strong tea with milk, or in fizzy drinks? 

All over the world people use caffeine to get them moving in the morning and keep going throughout the day.

In this week’s Discovery, Sue Nelson discusses the science and technology behind one of the world’s favourite stimulants.

Her guests are Dr Andrea Sella, an inorganic chemist at University College London, Dr Mark Miodownik, the head of the materials research group at King’s College London and Dr Henk Smit, who has a particular interest in food cravings and addiction.
