Sue Barker presents a special celebration of why the annual Wimbledon Tennis Championships remain so special to players and fans around the globe. Sue travels the world to meet some of the legends who have graced the famous grass courts and also speaks to the Duchess of Cambridge, the Patron of Wimbledon on why the event retains such a special place in her heart. In this first episode Sue also chats to British tennis royalty in the shape of Sir Andy Murray and Virginia Wade; her own personal idol Rod Laver; Billie Jean King who revolutionised the women's game, and a rare interview with seven time Wimbledon champion Pete Sampras. The players share memories and reflect on their own experiences at the iconic tennis tournament and how their lives and careers were changed by the Championships. Show less
