In Tanzania albino body parts and blood are used in magic potions created by witch doctors and are sold for huge amounts of money. To protect albino children, the government sends them to boarding schools, far away from their families. This film follows Shida, a Tanzanian albino during his first year at a new school where the rules are strict and tolerance is low. He is trying his best to meet the demands of being a pupil. The school is a chance of an education and to escape a life on the bottom of society.
