The literary world was in mourning on Monday following the death of Nadine Gordimer,�one of South Africa's greatest writers, whose fiction offered a compelling insight into the country's troubled past and complex present.�She was showered with honours including the Nobel Prize for Literature but she also faced harassment and condemnation.
