Mehmet Goeker is no ordinary businessman. He's successful and an obsessive show-off who manages his insurance company like a sect. What's on display here is the working life of a salesmen programmed to succeed and nothing can stop him.
This film is more than just the portrait of a greedy climber who falls for his own image. It's also a portrait of the health business in Germany. We get to see that every reform of the health system brings bigger profits for the private insurance companies. And since life is a cake and Mehmet Goeker wants a big piece, he sends out reps and the insurance companies reward him with millions. Which is why monthly premiums have to rise, and that's just the way it works.
