Paz, Adam, Ido and Danielle are Israelis in their twenties and part of a group of young people who have taken up residence in an underground bar called Uganda, in Jerusalem. Colourful characters, they're literature students, unbridled artists, and musicians, who all feel they're suffocating in their city. With the conflict in Israel dragging on, they wonder about their responsibility in the face of history and try to think about their future in a country that, they feel, offers them very little.
Although their grandparents fought to establish Israel, some of these young people have only one desire: to leave their country, in order that they might flourish abroad. Between impotence and revolt, this choral film explores the fractures of Israeli society through those who will be its heirs tomorrow. Show less
