Mike and Val have always enjoyed their garden, but now Val isn’t able to access it, so it's time to call in Garden Rescue. The couple would love a fragrant rose garden, and Chris and Charlie are the designers battling to win them over.

The couple go for Chris' design, and the first task on the build is to create a seamless new deck from the back of the house to the upper level of the garden, which is quite a feat of engineering. Chris’ design is for a more traditional rose garden with the central feature being a circular brick and sandstone patio under a stunning octagonal pergola.

Meanwhile, Charlie wants to help Rose to start gardening again and so comes up with a design for a multi-use potting table. But the real stars are the roses, and Chris has included every variety in his planting plan to give Val the garden she wants. Show less
