Pearson Hardman looks into the activities of a businessman who is suspected of having embezzled money from a large homelessness charity. Louis takes it upon himself to oversee the deposition, which goes spectacularly wrong when the suspect dies of heart failure during proceedings. Now, Louis and Harvey must work together to get the embezzlement case back on track after the loss of the prime suspect and only witness.
