Gabby Logan presents live coverage of the 44th London Marathon as world-class runners join thousands of fundraisers on one of the most inspiring days in the British sporting calendar.

This famous race always attracts a stellar field, and this year is no different, with world record holder Tigst Assefa and Kenya’s Olympic champion Peres Jepchirchir among the star attractions in the women’s elite race. The men’s race is headlined by New York City Marathon champion Tamirat Tola.

Great Britain’s David Weir – the most decorated athlete in the event’s history with a total of eight wins – is also set to compete in his 25th consecutive elite men’s wheelchair race.

Gabby will be joined by many special guests as the day progresses, and we’ll also hear from some of the 50,000 participants on their inspirational reasons for taking on the iconic course.

Commentary is from Andrew Cotter, Steve Cram, Paula Radcliffe and Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, while Steve Brown, JJ Chalmers and Jeanette Kwakye will be reporting from the 26.2-mile route.
