The complications facing parents when a marriage breaks down and a new relationship begins. Elizabeth tries to cope with Dale, Tom's possessive daughter who, at 25, still behaves like a child. For Dale, no one can replace her dead mother. The rivalries continue and stepmother Josie struggles when Matthew's three children move in with them. Josie reaches the end of her tether with Becky. After the complications of broken marriages, and rebuilt step families ,today is when decisions will be made.
