Duration: 28 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Two EnglandLatest broadcast: on BBC One Wales

Available for 2 months

A man needs to make a life-changing decision after a fallen rock crushes his best friend when they’re out climbing in the Glyderau mountains. With his mobile phone also smashed in the rockfall, the climber needs to decide whether to stay with his friend and watch him die, or make the two hour trek down the mountain alone to get help. After being alerted, mountain rescue and the coastguard helicopter teams must work together, in extremely tough weather conditions, to get the seriously injured man the life-saving medical help he needs.

When a woman falls while out walking near Llyn Idwal, mountain rescue are called to help her get back to safety. Her injured knee means that walking over the rocky ground is impossible. The team need to use their best persuasion skills to convince the walker to be carried off the mountain.

When a father and son get lost in dense fog, there is a risk that a wrong turn on a dangerous mountain could have deadly consequences. But luck is on their side when a good Samaritan steps in to help the rescue team.
