Eight years since the first spirit was distilled at the Harris Distillery, we return to catch up with a few of the original “Tarbert Ten” employees, and some of the thirty new employees.

In the warehouse, the spirit has been maturing in Bourbon and Sherry casks, and the countdown has begun to the long-anticipated release day. We go to a foundry in Leeds to see the design and first production run of the bottle.

Dòmhnall guides us through the warehouses and Peter tells us how he progressed from working in the distillery shop to becoming International Business Development Manager. We meet Eilidh and Jillian, both new employees and see the special edition bottles being filled. Finally, on the launch day there is an invitation only event and ceilidh, followed the next morning by the first sales of legal whisky on the Isle of Harris
