Duration: 1 hour, 54 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Radio UlsterLatest broadcast: on BBC Radio Foyle

Festive fun, music, and guests with Donna Legge and Rigsy.

Lucy Duggan is the guest in the first hour and tells us what is out there for the kids over the Christmas holidays – a must for every parent with young children to counteract cabin fever setting in.

In the second hour, relationship expert Jeanne Sullivan Billechi advises couples ‘How to Survive the Christmas Holidays’ from a relationship point of view.
We know that Christmas can be a very stressful time for relationships and that the application rate for divorce spikes in January every year. Jeanne gives us her advice on how to survive these stresses, how to look out for each other with so much going on – kids, in-laws, travelling to friends and family, plus parties.

Christmas can be a particularly fraught time if you are of a certain age, especially people in their 30s and 40s – they are taking on more responsibility at work, and have ageing parents and young dependants making huge demands on their time. It can expose the fracture lines in a relationship and partners can become overlooked or taken for granted.

Jan discusses the red flags if a relationship is heading for trouble - with advice on how to try and rekindle the partnership if it has gone cold. What can you do to remember what it was about this person that made you want to be with them in the first place? All relationships need work, even happy, successful ones – and Jeanne is going to advise us how to do that.

Expect great festive music, conversation and fun on Boxing Day. Show less
