Pup-pup-POW! Dog Squad are back and it’s puppy cadet training day, when pups all over Woofton see if they’ve got what it takes to become a real-life assistance dog.
Therapy dog Sylvie is at the Woofton Children’s Hospital with her owner Katrina helping an excitable King Charles spaniel, Toffee. Pup cadet Toffee must stay very still and ready for cuddles when meeting the patients and helping with their painting time.
Kika and her owner Dr Amit visit a litter of tumbly pups – just a few weeks old - on their way into the guide dog training centre. Kika is helping cadet Piran with his training missions. Meanwhile, Charli and Tinks are at the Woofton Museum with pup cadet Elvis, a black labrador training to become a disability assistance dog for his owner Eli, who has autism. A busy new place can be quite overwhelming for Eli, so Elvis must demonstrate his superfetch skills by fetching Eli’s comfort blanket and then help Eli feel calm enough to explore the museum.
Hearing dog Diesel is helping pup cadet cockapoo Molly complete her training before she meets her new owner Devon in a special pretend house at the hearing dogs centre. And, in the mountains, search and rescue cadets Sgiath, Cridhe, Wallace and Dan practise their barking at Barkfest, before showing off their search and rescue skills in a pretend rescue with their training toys.
For one lucky pup cadet, there’s the chance to join Dog Squad - the superhero team of assistance dogs with amazing powers! But only one can be chosen. Who will prove themselves top dog? Show less
