Sir Ian McKellen Remembers… All Is True

Sir Ian McKellen discusses All Is True, the 2018 film exploring a fictional version of the life and loves of William Shakespeare, written by Ben Elton and directed by Kenneth Branagh - who also took on the leading role as The Bard. Sir Ian looks back on his role as the Earl of Southampton, to whom Shakepeare sent many of his famous sonnets, and who have been much more than just a literary patro.. He also reflects on the importance Shakespeare has had on his own career over the years, and why the roles he created hundreds of years ago still hold the same attraction for actors, even today.
