Nigel Havers welcomes five more sets of sellers to the Bidding Room where they will try to persuade one of the five dealers to buy the items they are trying to sell.
First through the doors is hairdresser Maria with a stylish 50s barber chair that was pride of place in her old shop. Both mid-century and functional, it’s sure to appeal to our buyers, but which dealer can she cut the best deal with?
Arriving next is David with a quirky, orange phone he bought at a car boot sale. Collectable and shaped like a 80s cartoon character, his phone will certainly get the dealers talking, but who will dial in the best offer?
Next in are sisters Angela and Sonia with a stylish rattan stool that they think could be just the ticket with our buyers. Their piece might be simple, but it’s highly desirable and with three mid-century buyers in the line-up, can Angela get enough to buy the diamond ring she wants?
Our fourth seller is Yan with a pocket-sized piece with bag loads of charm. His Japanese tin plate toy might be tiny, but can he persuade toy fanatic Adi, or eclectic buyer Ian to pay big money?
Last in today is Shirley with a very interesting stick that belonged to her father. Having discovered this item has a secret, Shirley is now keen to show it off, but will our dealers be able to work out what it does and how?
The dealers in today are JB, Ian, Lauren, Estelle, Lucy, Melissa, Adi Moses and Jo. Show less
