Steve Backshall is on a mission to create a new generation of shark saviours, but first he needs to find his team.

In this episode, Steve takes 12 young UK hopefuls to boot camp with the challenge of choosing just six from the group. To earn their ticket to swim with sharks in a designated Shark Sanctuary in the Bahamas, the 12 have to complete a series of challenges, including swimming, a clifftop leap into water and a demanding abseil.
