Faigheann Conor léargas faoi leith ar thráma trasghlúineach a phobail féin atá ag maireachtáil i dtréimhse iar-choinbhleachta an lae inniu trí scríbhneoireacht chruthaitheach Scríbhneoirí an tSléibhe, meitheal scríbhneoirí atá lonnaithe i mBéal Feirste agus a bunaíodh mar thacaíocht do mhuintir na háite.
San eagrán seo, labhraíonn Conor le Fionnuala Ní Mhealláin. Is múinteoir bunscoile í Fionnuala atá ag obair in earnáil na Gaelscolaíochta le breis agus fiche bliain anuas. Tá spéis ar leith aici sna healaíona, go háirithe sa drámaíocht agus sa cheol. Tógadh le Gaeilge í i mBéal Feirste agus bhí cuid dá teaghlach lárnach i mbunadh na chéad Gaeltachta uirbí ar Bhóthar Seoighe in Iarthar Bhéal Feirste. Is scríbhneoir páirt-aimseartha í Fionnuala.
