The quest to win the 2023 world title intensifies for the elite triathletes as Roker Beach hosts the penultimate leg of the annual championship series.

Among those competing over the sprint distance – a 750m open water swim, a 20km bike ride and a 5km run – are current men’s world champion Leo Bergere of France and respective Olympic gold and bronze medallists Kristian Blumenfelt and Hayden Wilde.
