Sam Evans and Shauna Guinn discuss same-sex marriage in Wales

Duration: 28 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Radio Wales FMLatest broadcast: on BBC Radio Wales Extra

Available for 8 months

On the 10th anniversary of legalised gay marriage in Wales, Sam Evans and Shauna Guinn (the Hangfire Girls) take a look at same sex marriages. They'll meet with couples, a wedding dress designer and cake shop owners to discuss their experiences and wedding traditions.
The Church in Wales will not perform a same sex marriage, however things are changing and they will now bless a marriage. The girls will chat to a Reverend Canon who's supporting the change and is one of those pushing for even more.
Sam and Shauna's wedding got cancelled because of the Covid19 pandemic. As they explore what, if anything has changed in the 10 years since same sex marriage became legalised, what advice will they get as they re-start their own marriage plans. Show less
