First held in 1922, the Cookstown 100 is the oldest Irish road race still held today. The short 2.1-mile circuit may look simple on paper, but throw in the odd jump and crest, and it soon becomes a circuit that is difficult to master.
The list of past winners reads like a who’s who of motorcycle road racing. Dunlop, McCallen and Farquhar have all triumphed at the event. The 2023 edition welcomes a bumper entry of national and international riders, including lap record holder Michael Dunlop.
