We need adventures and dreams in sport, and the story of Freuchie Cricket Club's victory in the 1985 National Village Cup at Lord’s Cricket Ground is up there with the best. An incredible against the odds victory that embodies everything that we love about sport and captures the spirit of human endeavour and competition.

In ‘Freuchie Fever!’ we get to the heart of this incredible giant-killing story, discover how cricket plays a huge part in the Freuchie community, and why chasing an unlikely dream from the Freuchie players embodies everything we love about sport. Using music from the era and news archive to capture the occasion, we'll hear personal testimony from key players and expert contributors aligned with a well-structured and humorous script to help tell this unique story over 2 compelling episodes.

In episode 2 we look at Freuchie's run to the final, including playing 2 well-fancied English teams in the quarters & semis.
