The best of the action from Saitama, Japan, where ice dance duo Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson hope to win Britain’s first World Championship medal for 39 years.

The pair took silver at January’s European Championships, recording Britain’s best performance on the continental stage since Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean in 1994.

Elsewhere, the home crowd will cheer on Shoma Uno and Kaori Sakamoto as they try to retain their individual titles. In 2022, Uno became the third Japanese skater to win the men’s crown, capitalising on the absence of rivals Nathan Chen and Yuzuru Hanyu. Sakamoto, meanwhile, produced a personal best score to beat Belgium’s Loena Hendrickx to gold.

Katherine Downes introduces the action, with expert analysis from 1980 Olympic champion Robin Cousins. Show less
