Ramsay MacMahon is ever in search of unforgettable weekends full of adventure and fun, and for him the possibilities are endless in Scotland.
As much as Ramsay loves discovering new corners of the country, this weekend he is off to one of his favourite places in the world – Eriskay.
Starting in Haun at his grandmother’s old house, Ramsay calls in on a neighbour and walks out to the abandoned village of Roisinis. He then heads down to Prince Charlie’s Bay where he goes out on the gorgeous green waters on a paddleboard.
The next day Ramsay goes in search of the Eriskay ponies and is back out at sea again to get as close to the wreck of the SS Politician as he can.
Chan eil àite ann coltach ri Alba do Ramsay MacMahon son deiridhean sheachdain eadar-dhealaichte fhaighinn, làn spòrs is saorsa bho obair.
Mòr ‘s gu toil le Ramsay a bhith lorg àitichean ùra, chan eil am beat air dèanamh air fear de na h-àitichean anns a bheil e as eòlaiche agus a tha as prìseile dha – eilean Èirisgeidh.
A’ tòiseachadh aig dachaigh a sheanmhair anns na Hann, tha Ramsay a’ cèilidh air nàbaidh san uairsin a’ coiseachd a-mach gu baile Roisinis, an-diugh gun duine beò a’ fuireach ann.
Sìos leis an uairsin gu Coilleag a’ Phrionnsa far a bheil e dol a-mach air bòrd-pleadhain air uisgeachan cho uaine sa chithear an àite san t-saoghal.
An ath latha tha Ramsay a’ dol an tòir air eich Èirisgeigh agus a’ falbh gu muir a-rithist ach an turas seo airson gu faigh e cho faisg ‘s as urrainn dha air long bhriseadh an SS Politician.
