Seonaid Aitken celebrates some key jazz anniversaries & centenaries happening in 2023 with music from Latin Jazz bandleader Tito Puente, guitarist Wes Montgomery & saxophonist Dexter Gordon, who would have all turned 100 this year. Seonaid also marks the 20th anniversary of Frank, the debut studio album by Amy Winehouse & music from Herbie Hancock’s 1973 jazz-funk fusion album Head Hunters which was released 50 years ago.
