From George Frideric Handel to Anthony Newley.
Comedian and actor Ronnie Corbett shares his castaway choices with Roy Plomley.
In the first of two Desert Island appearances, Ronnie shares highlights from his early years and rise in show business.
Brought up in Edinburgh, Corbett attended a church youth club where he made his first performance. National Service in the RAF also gave him an opportunity to entertain, before being invited by David Frost to participate in his new ITV show alongside Ronnie Barker.
The duo went on to win their own series on BBC TV. The Two Ronnies became one of the most successful and long running comedy sketch shows of all time with an audience of over 18 million.
