The sensationally funny homage to Morecambe and Wise.

Filmed live at Theatre Royal, Bath, this smash-hit production of The Play What I Wrote is a sensationally funny homage to Morecambe and Wise.

Directed by Birmingham Rep’s artistic director, Sean Foley, co-written by Hamish McColl, Sean Foley and, of course, Eddie Braben, this Olivier Award-winning comedy, originally directed by Kenneth Branagh, brings sunshine to the stage.

Thom has written a play, an epic set in the French Revolution, called A Tight Squeeze for the Scarlet Pimple. Dennis, on the other hand, wants to continue with their double act. He believes that if they perform a tribute to Morecambe and Wise, Thom's comic confidence will be restored, and the double act will go on. But first, Dennis needs to persuade a guest star to appear in the play what Thom wrote...

Starring Dennish Herdman, Thom Tuck, Mitesh Soni and guest-Starring renowned multi-award-winning actor Tom Hiddleston. Show less
