The Radio 2 Piano Room opens its doors again to the world’s biggest artists. A glittering cast of performers are invited to BBC Maida Vale Studios to record piano versions of their best-loved hits and pay homage to their favourite records with spell-binding cover versions, all backed by BBC Concert Orchestra.

A mainstay on Ken Bruce’s Radio 2 mid-morning show, it now comes to BBC Two. Expect classic tracks from the likes of Craig David, Sigrid, Paolo Nutini and Michael Bublé, plus breathtaking cover versions including Sam Smith performing Des’ree, Olly Murs honouring Coldplay, and Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott bringing us a George Ezra hit.
