Music documentary filmed from Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as part of Celtic Connections 2022. This programme explores the creative partnership between the Gaelic song group Sian and their enhanced line-up featuring some of Scotland’s finest traditional musicians: Euan Burton, Fiona MacAskill and Signy Jakobsdottir.

With a set list focusing on songs by female Gaelic bards and using tight vocal harmonies with a larger band, the show demonstrates the group’s ability to showcase the strength and beauty of Gaelic song.

Featuring concert footage of the collaboration as well as interviews with band members, this 30-minute musical documentary goes behind the scenes to see some of the work and creative decisions involved in staging the event.
