NO PLACE LIKE HOME Is written and directed by Adam Bennett-Lea. Freddie, a selfish and idealistic drag queen, is forced to leave his hedonistic life in East London and return to his conservative Northern hometown, to care for his terminally ill mother. The two have had a turbulent relationship since Freddie came out as gay. If they’re going to reconcile their relationship in the time that Sarah has left, Freddie will have to let go of the grudges he holds against both his mother, and his hometown.
