Anns a’ chiad phrògram de sreath ùr, tha Eòrpa a’ coimhead air suidheachadh fògarraich Ucràinianach ann an Alba agus ann am Moldova. Bhon thòisich an cogadh san Ucràin sa Ghearran tha na milleanan de shluagh na dùthcha air an dachannan fhàgail agus mòran dhiubh a’ sireadh comraich ann an dùthchannan cèin. Gun choltas gun tig an t-sabaid gu crìoch a dh’aithghearr tha Annabel NicIllFhinnein a’ bruidhinn ri Ucràinianaich a tha air comraich fhaighinn ann an Alba mu na dh’fhiosraich iad agus na tha fa-near dhaibh, agus ri na teaghlaichean a thug cobhair dhaibh. Bidh Eòrpa cuideachd ann am Moldova, aon de na dùthchannan as bochda san Roinn Eòrpa, a chunnaic an àireamh as motha de dh’fhògarraich a-rèir àireamh an t-sluaigh a’ tighinn tarsainn na crìochean aice. Bidh sùil ga thoirt air na dùbhlain a tha mu choinneamh na dùthcha ann a bhith a’ dèilgeadh ris an t-suidheachadh agus mar a buidhnean carantais is eile ag obair gus àmhghair nam fògarrach a leasachadh.

Eòrpa looks at how Ukrainian refugees are faring in both Scotland and Moldova. Since the start of the war in Ukraine in February, millions of Ukrainians have fled to safety in neighbouring countries. With no sign of an imminent end to the fighting, Annabel Maclennan talks to Ukrainian families who have settled in Scotland about their experiences and what the future holds for them.

Moldova shares a border with Ukraine and received more refugees per head of population than any other country, despite being one of the poorest countries in Europe. Eòrpa looks at the challenges the country faces in dealing with the influx, and how Scottish charities, local organisations and groups are working to ease the plight of those fleeing the fighting.
