Gabby Logan presents highlights from the 2022 Great North Run as some of the biggest names in athletics are joined by 60,000 fun runners along the streets of Newcastle.

See all the action from the wheelchair, men’s and women’s elite races as well as finding out some of the truly inspirational stories behind the dedicated runners raising lots of money for their chosen charities. After the 2020 race was cancelled, and last year’s modified due to Covid-19, the course has returned to its iconic city-to-sea route for the first time since 2019.

Jeanette Kwakye and JJ Chalmers join Gabby to take in all the action, and commentary is provided by athletics royalty in the form of Steve Cram, Paula Radcliffe and Baroness Tanni Grey Thompson. Show less
