The Squirrels are playing hide-and-seek and come across a pink snorting fluffy animal – a Scrufflelump!

The Squirrels are excited and want to keep the Scrufflelump as their pet, but Duggee is wary. Keeping a pet is a lot of work. They need feeding, cleaning, exercising and much more that will keep you very busy. But they are wonderful too and can bring a lot of love to life. Duggee lets the Squirrels know the Clubhouse is not quite ready for another animal, so the Squirrels and Duggee wave Potato goodbye.

Just as the Squirrels are starting to miss Potato, who do they spot? Potato! It's followed them home! The Squirrels take up their responsibilities and feed, wash and exercise Potato, but Duggee was right and minding a pet is very tiring work.

Just then, there's a knock on the Clubhouse door. A family of Scrufflelumps are standing outside. The Squirrels are confused as these Scrufflelumps can speak just like them and not with the incoherent noises that Potato makes.

They ask if the Squirrels have seen their dad. The Squirrels are very confused until Potato coughs and spits and says yes to them. Potato is the Scrufflelump family dad! Potato packs up and leaves, and the Squirrels learn a valuable lesson about how to take care of a pet. Show less
