In Teesside, crewmates and best friends Lois and Sammie respond to a call about a woman with pains in her side. On scene, while the patient discloses that she has been struggling with her mental health following a sexual assault, the crew have concerns that she could be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy.

In Middlesbrough, crewmates Paul and Abid are dispatched to a 64-year-old woman who has fallen while walking her dog and has a suspected broken hip. Despite her pain, she still manages to entertain the crew in the back of the ambulance. Lois and Sammie are dispatched to a 78-year-old man in Billingham who is experiencing chest pains. The patient becomes emotional as he talks about his wife of 50 years, who he has sadly lost to cancer. Show less
