Step into Arlo’s inner world for an hour of music and musings on creativity, comfort and inspiration. She’s called it Dream Fuel - a scrapbook in sound of her favourite tracks, poems, personal voice notes, field recordings and special guests.

In this episode, the musician and producer Finneas joins Arlo to share stories and play each other some of their favourite artists, from Death Grips to Massive Attack. Together, they reflect on the joys of making creative messes, disconnecting from success, and the importance of honest songwriting. And Arlo gets nostalgic, sharing some tracks that she loved growing up from the likes of The XX and Weezer, as well as memories of performing Taylor Swift for a talent show at school and excerpts from some of her old teenage poetry.

Arlo Parks is a London born singer-songwriter and poet, who came onto the music scene back in 2019. Her debut album, Collapsed in Sunbeams, won the 2021 Mercury Prize, and in the same year she won Best New Artist at the Brit Awards. Show less
