In rural Yorkshire, he finds himself up to his elbows in the world of modern farming, collecting samples, walking the fields and bringing in the harvest with a state-of-the-art pea picking machine. He also gets hands-on at ‘The Giant’ in Hull - one of the largest pea-freezing factories in the world - helping coordinate the harvest, testing the peas at quality control, and finally getting them frozen.
