This week, Lord Sugar summons the candidates to the immersive entertainment complex Samsung KX in London. He reveals to them that for this week’s task they will be creating their own computer game. They will need to create a game demo along with a character, before pitching their concept to a panel of hugely successful games investors.

The task requires the teams to tackle this growing market and tap into trends. Half of the team oversee the branding of their new game, where a lack of attention to detail on one team leads to them getting a very frosty reception at their pitch. The other half of the team oversee the design of their game.

Both teams set their sights on the investors in the hope that their game will win them over. But mistakes and poor decisions mean investments are a struggle.

In the boardroom, Lord Sugar powers up, and for one candidate on the losing team it’s game over, as they are told, You’re fired! Show less
