Antiques Road Trip

Series 24

Episode 17

Duration: 43 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC One HDLatest broadcast: on BBC One Scotland

Irita Marriott and Phil Serrell are on a tour of Norfolk and Lincolnshire for their second outing together. Phil makes improper use of the classic car, believing it’s perfectly equipped to keep a bacon sandwich hot.

Irita hopes to strike it lucky with a wee birdie from the 1930s, and Phil takes a punt on some fine silverware. Mr Serrell also has a close encounter with a great bustard - returned to Norfolk for the first time in a century and a half - while Irita takes a metaphorical trip to the South Seas on the trail of Joseph Banks, a botanist who made landfall there in the late 1760s.

But who will fly when they gather to watch the auction at the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum? Show less
