Never Mind the Bus Pass

Series 2

Hitching in Europe, tree planting on the Equator and refusing to become invisible

Duration: 27 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Radio Wales ExtraLatest broadcast: on BBC Radio Wales FM

Available for years

When Ali Kedge turned 60, she got her bus pass - the golden ticket to free travel throughout Wales. Owning a bus pass makes her a Buskateer and she is traveling across Wales to meet up with other Buskateers, ordinary people who did extraordinary things back in the day - all without mobile phones, internet or Sat Nav. They were, and still are, frontier people.

This week Ali catches up with John, Ru and Wanda to chat about hitching despite limitations, a lifelong tree passion and the refusal to become invisible. Show less
