Molly examines her shelf of special things at the back of Mack’s Stall. She chooses toy alphabet bricks that spell the word ‘yes’ and remembers the day she got them.
Alice is playing ‘The Yes Game’. If you say ‘yes’ you are out, and the children enjoy joining in. The kids decide they want to beat the grown-ups at the game, and soon everyone at the Big Hub is playing. Some grown-ups are better at it than others, and Moira finds herself helping Mrs Juniper with all sorts of odd jobs around the Wobbly Coffee Pot Café in her quest to win the game – much to Mrs Juniper’s amusement.
Meanwhile, Molly’s mind is on other things, as she wonders what Alice would say if Dad asked her to marry him. Soon, as ‘The Yes Game’ spreads, she thinks of a very clever way to find out. Show less
