Written in memory of the Emma’s mother who passed away in 2016.
The processes of losing a loved one can sometimes feel like being under water. Pearl draws threads between the submerging feeling of grief and the waters of birth, reflecting on the cyclical nature of life and the hope that comes with new beginnings.
