Iain MacKinnon presents a mix of hymns, psalms and readings. In this episode, Iain will be reading a parable and introducing hymns and psalms – some recorded especially for Alleluia and others taken from the rich collection of previous performances.
Amongst the singers is Catherine Tinney with her interpretation of the hymn O Shàcramaid Mhic Dhè (Sweet Sacrament Divine), Seumas Graham with Nas Dlùithe Dhut Fhèin a Dhè (Nearer my God to Thee) and Iain ‘Spanish’ MacKay sings Psalm 139. There is also another opportunity to appreciate Govan Gaelic Choir singing Psalm 40 from a previous transmission. Plus Rev David Nicolson and Rosemary Ward reflect on their chosen reading from the Bible.
