We follow Mollie and her family as they celebrate and learn more about St David’s Day. First, Mollie and her family get busy planting daffodils and leeks. Then it’s time to head across to the impressive St David’s Cathedral, where they can learn more about who Saint David actually was. At school, Mollie gets the chance to learn about traditional Welsh dress while practicing her Welsh phrases. Some very special school visitors arrive to bring on fun games and songs to sing.
After a short stop off at Nana’s house, where they make delicious Welsh cakes together, Mollie and her family head over to a local workshop. They get the chance to design their very own lovespoon and watch it actually being made! Before the day is done, it’s time to catch the St David’s Day festival in Swansea. Mollie gets a chance to take part in lots of fun activities like making dragon wings, spray-painting and trying delicious Welsh food. What an exciting time! Show less
