Nigel Havers welcomes three more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.
First through the doors is Lexi from Hereford, with a miniature miracle of British engineering - a toy steam engine handed down from father to daughter. Will the train ignite the interest of dealer and big kid Adi, who trades in vintage toys? Steaming in after Lexi is Frank from Rochdale, with an antique cash register he rescued from a tip and lovingly restored. He wants a decent cash return for all his efforts and is looking to sell for at least £700. The dealers are interested, but will they any of them be prepared to deal at that price? Finally, Steve has brought in an iconic piece of British rock 'n' roll history that he thinks will light the dealers’ fire. It's a series of plywood boards that lined the dressing room walls of London’s famous Marquee club for decades and were signed by an array of seminal rock bands that graced its stage.
Today's dealers are Adi, Ian, James, Jane and Tash. Will any of them match – or even top – the valuation placed on each of the items? Show less
