Andreena and her partner Germaine feel they have outgrown their home in Walthamstow. In order to get more for their money, they want a fresh start with space in the countryside, somewhere with a better work-life balance like Kent. However, as a black gay couple, they are also keen to find out if the community is diverse enough for them to feel welcome. Things are made complicated by their daughter, Renee. She doesn’t want to move, as she feels her career prospects in dance lie in the city. Could a week sampling the simple life in Kent persuade Renee to move with her family, or is now the time to strike out on her own? Show less
