Never Mind the Bus Pass

2. It didn't really matter where we were going...

Duration: 28 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Radio Wales FMLatest broadcast: on BBC Radio Wales Extra

Available for years

When Ali Kedge turned 60, she got her bus pass - the golden ticket to free travel throughout Wales. Owning a bus pass makes her a Buskateer and she is traveling across Wales to meet up with other Buskateers, ordinary people who did extraordinary things back in the day - all without mobile phones, internet or Sat Nav. Ali is on a mission to change the perception of the bus pass generation as she travels across Wales to chat sex, drugs & rock ‘n’ roll with fellow pass holders.

This week Ali catches up with Michael, Jenni and Gary to remember early PR stunts, smoking joints in a Bollywood film and recording with Björk, Tom Jones and Sly and Robbie. Show less
