Mark Chapman presents live Challenge Cup action as Wigan and Leeds – the two most successful teams in the competition’s history – meet in the first semi-final.
Record 19-times winners Wigan enjoyed a comprehensive 36-4 victory over Hull FC in the quarter-finals and are flying high in the Super League under second-year coach Adrian Lam. The ex-Papua New Guinea coach played for Wigan between 2001-04 and won the Challenge Cup with the club in 2002, so he has first-hand experience of what the competition means to the Warriors. Leeds are looking to reach their first final since 2015, when they completed back-to-back Challenge Cup triumphs. Richard Agar’s team overcame Hull KR 48-18 in the last eight in a dominant display that saw seven different try scorers.
