Cycling: World Road Championships

2020

Men's Road Race

Duration: 4 hours, 20 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Two EnglandLatest broadcast: on BBC Two Wales

Live coverage of the men’s road race at the UCI 2020 Road World Championships, which are being held in Imola in Italy. The global pandemic means a late change of venue, but after the 2019 race, which took place amid horrendous weather conditions in Yorkshire, the riders are prepared for anything. Denmark’s Mads Pedersen was the surprise winner in 2019.

The 2020 race comes hot on the heels of the Tour de France, so many of the riders already have plenty of miles in their legs to tackle the challenging 260km course, which ends at the famous motor racing circuit in Imola.

Presented by Jill Douglas, with commentary provided by Simon Brotherton and Chris Boardman. Show less
