Mr Malone hosts a music competition. When Sid struggles to compose a new song, Martha and Kat explain to him that music is just maths and immediately create a fantastic EDM track on Sid’s laptop.
Overnight, Kat releases their track online and it goes viral. Martha and Kat name themselves KatMar and are treated like pop stars. But they argue when they try to create their second track: Kat wants to use animal sounds, and Martha wants to record the sound of her finger around the rim of a glass.
Meanwhile, Lily denies she’s competitive, yet she wears a fitness tracker to beat Jas’s step count.
As Lily and Jas judge the music competition, Lily tries to beat Jas’s resting heart rate. She focuses on staying calm and is the only one not to react to KatMar’s terrible track. When Lily’s tracker reveals the ‘happy heart’ icon, she yells that she is the winner. The audience stare at her, and Lily admits she is competitive.
