More than five months after the competition was suspended, the Pro14 returns to conclude the 2019/20 season over four weeks.
Two rounds of derby fixtures will confirm the semi-final line-up, with the final scheduled for the 12th September. As the tournament resumes, Edinburgh are top of Group B two points ahead of Munster, while Leinster have an unassailable lead of 18 points over Ulster in Group A. For Glasgow to make the top two in Group A, they will need to overturn a gap of nine points by defeating Edinburgh in the back-to-back games and hope that Ulster lose against both Connacht and Leinster.
While the Edinburgh game against Glasgow at Murrayfield will occupy the headlines in Scotland, Wales’ interest in the latter stages of the tournament will end should Scarlets fail to beat the Blues or Munster defeat Leinster. Show less
